Micah Scoggan graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City with an bachelor's degree in Urban Planning & City Design. He has worked as an intern for the City of Kansas City, MO in their parks and recreation department as well as the City of Independence, MO in their Community & Economic development department. Upon graduating college with departmental honors and Latin honors he worked for a private economic development firm in Kansas City reviewing TIF, LITCH and conducting blight analysis surveys.

Prior to joining Goddard, KS Micah worked in Beloit, KS updating their GIS web map and working with different department heads to update their spatial data and introduce new ways of managing and manipulating data. When he is not reviewing planning items Micah is spending time with his wife Ashley Scoggan and son Samuel.
